This POS application which worked fine the first time opening it after downloading won’t even open after having closed it the first time. I want a refund. I’ve restarted numerous times, and no matter what I do, I can’t get the stupid thing to open.
I use them mostly in signatures on my Mac computer. The smiley face symbol for the Emoji Emoticons appears on the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click on it and choose the option to open at login, so it is always available. You only need to click on the emoticon you want (control C unnecessary), move the mouse to where you want the emoticon, and then use control mouse click or control P to insert the emoticon. Notice also that there are options at the bottom of the emoticon chart. You can select all or just some of the emoticons to display. Notice also the slide which enlarges the emoticons, so you can choose the size you prefer. Nice art work.
A very GOOD app for the Mac and it works well - for copy, paste/insert on almost ANY website. I have used it in the comment sections (under articles) on NYTimes website, Yahoo, 9to5mac and MacRumors, AND as well as Youtube and so far, zero problem. The only problem is, it is not even a problem, just a request - if there was an option (a choice) to make the emoji emotions appear medium and/or large in one’s comments……. Currently, when you copy and paste, they appear to be rather small. I believe with larger emotions, one’s comment would “Pop!!"
As of AUG 2015 (using current Mac OS), this application basically doesn’t work. As such, don’t waste your money. Furthermore, I couldn’t even open up the developers webpage (are they defunct?)
If using El Captain, and set the task bar to Dark BLUE the ICON is NOT visible. All other programs the ICON is clear and visible.. A patch is needed ASAP to address this issue.
The only way I could insert emoticons on my MacBook Pro Yahoo Email, was with screen copy (cmmd-shift-4) and then copy-paste. But even that did not work to insert into word Doc. Basically it is rather useless. I can’t recommend it.
