Neither Copy-paste nor Drap-drop works for me

The only way I could insert emoticons on my MacBook Pro Yahoo Email, was with screen copy (cmmd-shift-4) and then copy-paste.
But even that did not work to insert into word Doc. Basically it is rather useless.
I can’t recommend it.
